Limi Boosters National Educational Grant

Each year, the Limi Boosters budget up to $3,000 for scholarships and educational grants. Each scholarship and educational grant will be between $500 and $750. The association will award them at the discretion of its executive board.

Eligibility

Any active member of the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) who intends to enroll or continue in a two- or four-year college, vocational, or technical program is eligible to apply.

Funds

The Limi Boosters will pay its educational grants directly to the recipients.

Selection

The Limi Boosters have a strong desire to help young people who appreciate the Limousin breed; work hard; have energy, drive and determination; and are in need of financial aid to further their educations. The association asks recipients of its grants to be at least average students, have demonstrated citizenship and leadership skills, have participated in 4‑H or FFA, and be NALJA members. A selection committee will consider all applications received before the deadline, and the Limi Boosters will announce recipients at the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC). The recipients need not be present to receive the educational grants. An applicant can receive one scholarship or educational grant in a given year. Former educational grant recipients cannot reapply, although they may apply for a scholarship (and vice versa).
